Fresh Berries / Malt / Butterscotch
Strictly high grown. Rainforest alliance.
Finca Kassandra was originally a cattle station before coffee was first planted in 1990. With an average annual temperature of 22°C and generous rainfall between 1,400–2,000mm, the farm’s climate proved ideal for producing high-quality coffee.
By 2003, the estate had expanded sufficiently to construct its own dry mill, and since then all coffee has been fully processed on-site — ensuring careful quality control at every stage.
The Rivas family, who own and manage the farm, are deeply committed to environmental stewardship. They have set aside 27 hectares of native rainforest to protect local birdlife and wildlife, and an extensive tree-planting programme continues across the plantation. These initiatives not only support biodiversity but also enhance the long-term health and productivity of the coffee.
The clarity and character of Finca Kassandra’s coffee reflect both the natural beauty of the estate and the dedication of the Rivas family.
