The rich and fertile soils of the extinct volcano, Mount Elgon, are renowned for producing exceptional specialty coffees. Grown by smallholder farmers at high elevations and fully washed at local washing stations, these coffees are often compared with Kenyan profiles in both price and quality, showing remarkable clarity and structure in the cup.

In espresso, we love the rich, earthy body and deep sweetness, while as filter the coffee reveals soft florals, gentle citrus brightness, and notes reminiscent of brown sugar and cocoa. This is a truly versatile coffee, binding beautifully with milk and non-dairy alternatives while still retaining its character. A balanced and expressive cup that rewards careful brewing in any style.
